On September 3rd, the Dave Hooke Team is playing volleyball for 12 hours straight - no breaks, all day - to raise money for Project LampLight, the rapid-response fund Dave started to help people in our community facing an urgent financial need. No long application. No long wait. Just fast help when it matters most.
This year alone, this community has already helped Project LampLight give over $70,000 to more than 115 people facing a crisis. We’ve bumped our goal up to $8,500 for this event, and we’d love your help getting there.
We’re calling it Give. Play. Serve. Here’s how you can jump in:
Give: Make a donation of any amount, and it goes straight to someone who needs it.
Play: Build a team and challenge us to a game. $100 minimum donation reserves your 30-minute slot on the court.
Serve: Know someone in our community facing an urgent financial need? Nominate them, and our committee will review how we can help.
The Story Behind Project LampLight
After years of success in real estate, Dave felt something was missing. A trip to Haiti - where he met a young girl unsure if she’d eat that day - changed everything. He came home and started setting aside a piece of every commission check to help people facing financial crisis, anonymously and fast. That idea became Project LampLight, now a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that’s helped hundreds of families in our community.
